How to get connection?

Psalms 83:1 O God, do not keep silence;do not hold your peace or be still, O God!

There are times in life when you feel like God has left you, you feel alone and abandoned. Although he said I will never leave you nor forsake you, you feel like you are in the dry season of your life sometimes he is silently watching the love of his life. In the last episode we spoke about a couple that did not have enough money to buy a television with arial and connection subscription so they decided to buy an arial. The husband agreed to buy the television arial just to make the wife happy. When they arrived home, the children were so happy and the mother asked them to ensure that they put the arial on the roof top point. The children did as requested but could not understand the logic.

The little smiling faces after completing installing the arial, they came and sat waiting for the television. In their little minds maybe a delivery man was still coming with the television, the father seeing their faces was embarrassed and explained the buying process. They couldn’t understand who buys an arial before the television but what could they say. The wife went to work as usual and people were talking about how strange her television arial was, and explained that they don’t understand how the wires were connected to the television. Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his own love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Sometimes we cannot understand our connection to God that whilst we were sinners, he sent Jesus Christ to die for us. God’s connection to us is too deep to understand, why he loved us so much that when we did not qualify to be saved but he still saved us and worked hard to connect us to him and today even if you feel like he is not there, we must just trust his promise.

When the wife came back from work, she was more furious with the husband, forgetting that it was her idea to put the arial on the top point of the roof. He asked the husband that they must buy a television since she cannot be a joke of the whole village. The husband tried explaining that they don’t have the money but his explanation fell into deaf ears. So they agreed that they will sell the cattle that was providing milk for the family in order to buy the television.

Philippians 4:11 Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. Paul teaches us to be content with whatsoever we have, because if we are not content we will end up losing everything we have trying to please everyone. If we live to please people, people will always find something wrong with our actions and they will never appreciate our efforts. So if we learn to be content with ourselves we will be strong in our journey and hold on to our faith knowing that God is connected to us more than we are connected to him. As people we tend tone more connected to things and forget that these things they parish, we should always be connected to our creator. This family will not find happiness until they find contentment that is found in Christ alone.

Lots of Love see you in the last episode of the arial and connection

Never been easy to hear you…..

Remember what it says: “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled.” Hebrews 3:15 NLT

One day I was attending a church service and during the service there was time for collection. It was during this time when people were moving to the front to bring the collection when I heard a small coin fall. You could hear it was small coin, and the second coin fell and this one caught the attention of many because you could hear it was a bigger coin. I smiled looking at people helping the owner to search for the coin.

You may wonder why was I smiling? I was smiling because most people say they cannot hear God’s voice but they could hear a coin falling and also determine its value. How strange is that? Today I was pulled to this verse The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep recognize his voice and come to him. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. After he has gathered his own flock, he walks ahead of them, and they follow him because they know his voice.John 10:3‭-‬4 NLT.This verse says the sheep knows his voice and when they hear his voice, they follow the Shepherd and the shepherd takes care of his sheep not any sheep but his sheep.

My question was if we cannot hear our shepherd it means we can go astray and be stolen by thieves. We listen to various things such as music, news, drama, gossip etc and we can even tell who is speaking or who is singing but we can’t hear the voice of our shepherd. I would be sad if I was the shepherd of the flock that can’t even recognize my voice. I like the way the shepherd say that they hear my voice and he does not speak about they listen to my voice, because we can listen but not hear.

So the shepherd used the word hear because when he calls, the sound does not only go to the ear but also to the heart. He says “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. Revelation 3:20 NLT.He stands at the door of our hearts and knocks and if we hear with our hearts and open our hearts he only wants to be our friend but we say we can’t hear him. I desire we can hear him as we hear falling coins or the voices on our television or radio. Remember he has never been a silent God, he loves to communicate with his sheep because he loves them dearly.

Rest in me….

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
Psalms 91:1 NLT

It was a cool summer day when I decided to take a nap since I have been worried about many things that were not going my way . I had visited a medical practitioner two days earlier and he checked my BP and found that it was very high and he advised me rest more often . I was in a very stressful situation and prayed a lot but the situation did not change.

I slept praying and I can’t tell whether I was asleep or was awake but I saw and heard Jesus saying to me “Charity rest in me” I was puzzled by this and decided to pray about the word also asking Holy Spirit to guide me to find verses that confirm the word I heard. Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28 NLT This was the first verse that came very strong on my spirit and looking at it I realized that I was carrying a heavy load and could not rest. Why was I not giving Jesus my load? I asked myself but I knew that I prayed about my worries but realised the issue was that even after praying I still thought about my load all the time. So Jesus was saying when I have given him my load, I must learn to trust him with it and rest. How difficult can it be to rest.

The next verse was very assuring to me that Jesus was capable of taking care of my worries but he needed me to believe “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs.Matthew 6:31‭-‬32 NLT. The question that dominated my mind after reading this verse was that being worried about these issues was a sign of unbelief and I didn’t want to be someone who does not believe.I tried figuring out this unbelief thing with this example If you give someone your card to withdraw the money they need for a project and they don’t take the card but go on complaining about lack of money for the project. What does this mean, does it mean the person does not trust the card has the money or does it mean the person does not trust that you have the money. At the end its all about believing, How difficult can it be to rest

The next day I woke up with this verse : And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. Hebrews 3:18‭-‬19 KJV.The children of Israel could not enter into God’s rest because of unbelief. This made me very sad to realise that we cannot enter his rest because of unbelief and I pray for my unbelief. I ask God to help me to believe and not to worry about things I cannot change.

How to live on heavenly realms?

Ephesians 2:6
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

I have a brother who is running marathons and when he started running the family never thought of him as a comrades marathon runner. He is very passionate about running and is recruiting all family members to also run. I have observed him develop healthy habits gradually to a point where these habits have become his second nature. Some examples of these habits are eating health, keeping his running schedule and using staircase instead of an elevator. Why am I sharing this story is because it is similar to us getting used to living as Heavenly citizens.

In the last episode we spoke about people who understood how to live on earth as well as heaven and most questions I have received were on the how and what were the benefits of dual citizenship. The how is the same as preparing for running marathons, you don’t wake up one day and say tomorrow I am going to run a marathon. Steps which are critical which needs to be developed as habits are to create private time daily to praise, worship, pray, read the word, quiet yourself, listen to God speak, allow Holy Spirit to lead and show you heavenly secrets. In the beginning it will be difficult to quiet your yourself because your mind will be flooded with various thoughts but I advice you to focus on breathing in and out since this will help you to get in tune all the time. When you commit to your schedule and commit to practising visiting heavenly realms , you will develop the habit and you will be in tune to living in heavenly realms regularly.

The benefits are plenty lets talk about peace our earthy home does not have peace and you can not know peace when you are on earth. You will be consumed by fear and troubles but when you spend time in heavenly realms you will find peace that exceed your expectation which would be the same like that of Jesus in the sea when everyone was afraid but he was sleeping peacefully because he was seated with his father in heavenly realms John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. In this peaceful place you will also experience joy that will keep you happy and full of hope.Romans 15:13Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit. The peace, joy and hope will be your habits as a heavenly citizen, remember you cannot give what you do not have. The earth cannot give you peace, joy and hope since it does not know how to have peace but heaven is a peaceful, joyful and hopeful place so you will get refilled and learn to keep them.

The earth as much as it has plenty but everyone lives in the lack, we fight for the resources and everything. It is a place of survival of the fittest and everyone for themselves. In heaven you will learn to live in abundance and know that the king is your father and he is rich in everything and as a heavenly citizen you will not be consumed by thinking about what to eat, wear etc 2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: Life in the heavenly realms in not a struggle because everything is in abundance and when things happen on earth they won’t bother you because you live constantly in a better place and as you spend more time in the heavenly realms you can even see things before they happen and when they happen you will not be amazed. 1 Corinthians 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

Do I have dual citizenship?

They don’t belong to this world, just as I don’t belong to this world.
John 17:16 CEB

I have this friend of mine who have a dual citizenship. She was born in country A and moved with her parents at a young age to country B and after sometime in country B they got citizenship. She will always brag about benefits of dual citizenship and explain that country B has so many benefits and opportunities for the citizens whilst country A is struggling. I always get jealous when she explains and I forget that I also have dual citizenship.

A born again Christian has dual citizenship, the first is on earth then in Heaven this is found in scriptures especially when you ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the benefits of being a child of God.Therefore, if you were raised with Christ, look for the things that are above where Christ is sitting at God’s right side. Think about the things above and not things on earth. You died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. Colossians 3:1‭-‬3 CEB. This verse say to you don’t think much on your earthly citizenship but focus on things above as a citizen of Heaven because your life is hidden in Christ who is on the right hand side of God the father. So we have dual citizenship.

And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:Ephesians 2:6 KJV. We sitting in heavenly places with Christ and we even called by our father to come boldly to the throne of grace because we are the citizens of his kingdom that deserve to approach the throne. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.Hebrews 4:16 KJV.The benefit of dual citizenship

You might not believe that you have citizenship in Heaven now as in present tense, not when you die or you are dead and I understand because that was the gospel I was taught until Holy Spirit opened my eyes. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.John 14:20 KJV. Jesus is with the father in heaven and we are in him and he is in us. The big question is where do we spend most of our time on earth or in Heaven, like my friend indicated that she loves Country B because of the benefits which means she will spend more time in country B

Lots of love, see you in next episode continuing with dual citizenship

Is it cheating?

One day I was attending a youth conference, as you might know that young people have got curious minds and like to ask difficult questions. This young person asked the presenter that if he has a boyfriend or girlfriend that she or he loves very much and on the other hand she or he also loves God is that not cheating? The hall laughed and the presenter tried explaining but the more he tried to explain the more questions were raised. At the rate of questions and observing the presenter ,I really appreciated his calmness and understanding that these questions might be questions that these young people ask themselves frequently but are afraid to ask adults because of fearing that they can be judged. I know of people who will say its difficult for them to do certain things because God is watching the 24/7.

They asked a question about Psalms 63:6 When I remember thee upon my bed,
and meditate on thee in the night watches.
The question was how do you sleep with your partner who might be your wife or husband and be remembering someone else ? As I was sitting thinking I realised the answer was in the next verse Psalms 63:7 Because thou hast been my help,
therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.
This means you remember the person because of the help they provided you in time of your need, you might be with someone but your mind still have thoughts of appreciating the greatness around you.

Most of questions were based on meditation like this verse Joshua 1:8
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
The question here was should I be spending more time reading the bible? Should I carry my bible every time so that I don’t depart from it? How will people think of me or look at me? and in my thoughts was these young people have their cell phones in their hands every second what do people say or think of them?Technology has made it easy for us not to depart from the word of God but what is more important is to do according to it.

This was also a question Mark 12:30
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
They were saying if you love God with all your heart, soul. mind and strength what will be left for you to love others? I thought that most often we read or quote scriptures incomplete and this create more questions whilst the answer might be in the next verse Mark 12:31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. This second verse answers the question that if you love yourself then you can be able to love someone else unless you love God to the point of not knowing how to love yourself which is unlikely.

1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. As they were closing the session, I could hear them saying they know and understand that God is love and when they show love to others they showcasing God. Genesis 33:4 And Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck, and kissed him: and they wept.Genesis 33:9-10 And Esau said, I have enough, my brother; keep that thou hast unto thyself. And Jacob said, Nay, I pray thee, if now I have found grace in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand: for therefore I have seen thy face, as though I h.ad seen the face of God, and thou wast pleased with me.

The session showed me the beauty of openness, respect and trust although I will still maintain that God is creative, he made our hearts so special that we can love him completely and still have love for others and that is not cheating but expressing the creativity of our creator

Can God borrow me his eyes?

John 15:9
As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

I was attending a funeral service in my home township, meaning the township I grew up in and the minister of the word of God before starting his sermon he says:“My beloved brothers and sisters,I am standing here as a sign post that shows you the direction of where to go but I am not going there. So listen to what I am saying but don’t look at how I live my life” He then proceeded to give a brilliant sermon but on my mind I was still stuck in his opening remarks and I told myself I must meet him after the whole proceedings.

I met him after the proceedings in the family home and I asked him showing concern on why did he make those opening remarks? he was quiet for sometime and he decided to answer and said “I can see you not staying around here, but I am going to tell you the honest truth. I am a wreck, people in my church community has written me off and they are correct. I am an embarrassment to the church as a pastor because I am an addict and a drunkard, and I need help.” I could see he was trying hard to hold tears.

After our discussion, I did some introspection and asked my self how can we be so judgemental ? This indicated to me that we have taken pastors as inhuman and we can’t accept them to err like us. But looking at the whole picture the church of Christ has become a worst place to crucify people. Let me make an example here, if your child has been known to steal or be a prostitute or be gay or lesbian in the church we will crucify and make a mockery of you. What kind of community are we, how do we practice love as a body of Christ?

As I was leaving the family place later, I notice the pastor sitting in another house with some few gentlemen drinking and you could see he was having fun. I ask God to give me his eyes as I look into this situation because my eyes will lead me to judge and I begin to see a man broken and in pain. This man is numbing the pain with liquor and drugs and I also realise that we are all trying to numb our pain or cover our scars and we end up addicted with either pain killers or whatever that will make the pain manageable. I think its time as a body of Christ we ask God borrow us his eyes so that we can see our brothers and sisters who are broken and in pain as John says 1 John 4:20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? I pray that God to give us his eyes

Faith bag, do you have one?

Today I will be looking at faith in a Christian life which is most often challenged by fear, doubt and worry. When we start our Christ like journey we start by faith and in the end it will be by faith, which mean that faith is a critical element in a Christian life. It becomes a sad reality for a Christian to question their faith, asking these questions: Do I have enough faith? Is my faith the same size as a mustard seed? Do I even have faith?

For our comfort the people who journeyed with Jesus Christ on earth asked themselves the same questions ,which means we all at times question our faith Luke 17:5-6 The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!”.And the Lord said, “If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you. Often times when we question our faith it’s when we pray for something and it does not happen or when we pray and do not receive the answer we are expecting.

What is Faith ? Hebrews 11:1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Substance is “the real physical matter of which a person or thing consists and which has a tangible, solid presence” Dictionary.com. Faith is Substance (Physical matter that can be seen, touched, smelled, tasted and heard) of something you hope for and Evidence is proof or exhibit of something not seen.

Let me introduce to you my handbag faith model : I have a handbag and I put things inside like a pen, purse, lipstick and when I need a pen I know its there.I just open my bag and take it out. So we need to have a ‘faith bag’ which can be similar to my handbag but the difference will be like your faith bag will be like your virtual card. In our faith bag we will put substance of things hoped for example like I hope for healing, the substance that I will put in my faith bag will be the word of God that speak to healing. The evidence of things not seen means I will take out of my faith bag a vision of myself doing things I couldn’t do before.

The problem we often experience is that life has been so difficult and we have been told that “easy come easy go” so many times. Simple things, like to love someone has become so difficult, because of the expectations. We have also made having faith so difficult and resorted to “Seeing is believing” One day in our church service, they asked this man to pray for something and he started tightening his fists, then changed his face and I confess I did not close my eyes , I was watching him. This man started praying by casting ,loosening and binding, it looked like a real war and I was standing there asking myself “does issues of faith have to be this hard Lord?”

When I started reading bible verses about Faith, it did not look that hard. Let’s look at the verses about faith or great faith and apply this to my faith bag model. Lets look at Luke 7:6-9
Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof:Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed. For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel
. Now applying the faith bag model :In the centurion faith bag what he puts in as a substance of something hoped for is Jesus word that has authority, and the evidence of things not seen that he has to take out of his faith purse was His servant doing his chores.

Mark 5:27-29,34 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
In the woman faith bag was one touch to Jesus clothes and evidence she had to take out of her faith bag was drying out of blood

This looks too simple and we are looking for difficult things. This evidence you have to see it in your mind or let me say visualise it spiritually. Lets apply this to Jesus journey on earth as He is our teacher and Role Model. Mark 4:38 – 40 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
In Jesus Faith bag was the word of his father, peace and be still and evidence in the faith bag was great calm. I don’t know what is your level of faith and you might be thinking this is too easy, why is everyone not getting what they hope for? I cannot answer that but I have my faith bag and I am seeing grace everyday and I trust this verse Jeremiah 1:12 Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over my word to perform it.”

I hope faith bag will make you realised that you have been given a measure of faith according to Romans 12 :3 Put it in you faith bag and always cherish it

Lots of Love see you in the next episode where I will discuss my faith bag testimonies

My head and heart can’t agree

Christians most often tend to be holier than thou and become so judgemental and forget that it was only by grace that they were saved. In my Christ- like journey, I realised that it was not easy to let go of some of the things that were entrenched within myself and used to define me. Galatians 5:17
For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do.
When we are born again, the person born again who is the new Spirit person inside us still resides in the old person our physical body. The new person wants to dominate the old person but this is not just easy as some of us think because the new person need to be fed the word of God and grow to be a giant that can overcome the old person. My initial conflict was how to relate to God as my father and Christianity is a journey.

I had a conflict within me about “Our Heavenly Father” and you might wonder why did I have a conflict with something so simple. In my head its was logical to call God my Father but my heart will not accept or agree. This was worse when I was in the mist of people who will call God my Heavenly Dad or just Dad. This frustrated me a lot and could not share it with my fellow brothers and sisters for fear of judgement and being misunderstood when not everyone understand that Christianity is a journey

My reaction was caused by the fact that my biological father left me and my mom when I was still in Pre- School. What made matters worse was the fact that he married my mother’s neighbour which meant I would see him regularly when visiting his in laws. I grew up angry with him and the neighbours , I will throw dirt in their yard until my grandmother noticed and she discipled me thoroughly- I hope you understand when I say thoroughly and that stopped the un- becoming behaviour but did not heal the pain and anger.

There were times when I had to create an imaginary father at school especially when I was amongst friends who will be talking about their dad’s. I asked myself what happened between my father and my mother that made him to hate me so much?I also asked myself why was I being punished for their misunderstandings or problems? I could not ask my mother because she did not want to talk about him, and called him “that bastard” and that would end any discussion or questions you had

Now in my Christian life I had to relate to God as my father, that was hard because I knew a father as someone who will abandon you, someone who will reject you and someone who will live life like you don’t exist. I wish fathers could read this so that they can understand the pain they cause in their children’s lives.

I remember this case :One day we were at a conference with my colleague and a lady who was also at the conference, as we were introduced realised the surname of my colleague was his father’s surname. So during breaks she will sit with my colleague and tell him that she has never met her father but was told his surname and its the same surname with my colleague but my colleague did not know the man. In the evening gala dinner on the last day of the conference my colleague decides to tell me about the story of this lady. I got so angry ,that why was she looking for someone who never cared for her? My colleague could not understand the anger and I started crying and left the event and I cried the whole night. The next day my eyes were swollen red and I decided not go to breakfast but pack my bags and go home. This made me realise that even after so many years I was still angry with my father and had buried these emotions for years especially that my dad had already passed on.

I prayed and told God that’s it was hard for me to see and relate to him as my father, and the God who answers in that still small voice said to me “forgive your father“. I asked how, when its hurting so bad and God said take it step by step forgive him for each and everything that he did or did not do. From that moment I took a step to forgive him for everything that came to my mind that required forgiveness. I started by saying I forgive you for …. look at these examples: I forgive you for abandoning me, I forgive you for not being there as my father when I needed you the most, I forgive you for not visiting me when I was sick in hospital for six months, I forgive you for not saying I am sorry for hurting you. I forgive you for the day when fathers were giving their children Christmas presents at the hall and you were not there. I forgive you for ………….. This process took long but it helped me to find peace and start a journey of healing. I still finding things that I have to forgive him for since Christianity is a journey

One day on my prayer moments, I hope you understand that there are days when you just pray and the are days when you pray and connect. These are the days I call prayer moments, as I was praying to God as a provider and I asked God when you say you are a provider what does it mean? God brought this picture in my mind which had never meant anything in the past. The vision was about an event that happened when my children were still young, and in the vision which really happened; My children saw an ice-cream man in the street and ran home to their dad and said daddy ice- cream man with their eyes full of excitement and daddy understood this means buy us ice cream. Their dad said go ask him how much and they ran stopped ice- cream man and came back to collect money from daddy, they were full of joy. They went and bought ice cream and came back to eat it in front of their dad who was watching with a smile. God said to me can you see how these children came home to their father knowing he will not disappoint them as their provider also watch the joy in the father’s eyes when he sees them happy. This was an answer that God as a provider was like this dad also God was revealing to me a caring father.

It has been a journey in me finding my Heavenly father and I will share with you in the next episode how it all came together. I now have a Father and an Amazing Dad

Lots of love, lets meet in the next episode

Why complicate something so simple

I made a prayer for healing, I was struggling with a terrible pain from rheumatoid arthritis. It was so painful to even lift up my hands, especially when I was dressing and I would bend so that I make it easy to remove and put on clothes. I prayed, asked to be healed as 1 Peter 2:24
who his own self bare our sins in his body upon the tree, that we, having died unto sins, might live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.
and waited with expectation. Whilst waiting my mind was creating doubt that I had been praying to be healed for years now, what will be different with this prayer. Remember in my previous stories I have indicated that I prayed for healing but did not get results. I remember one time my colleague asked me, since you pray so much why are you still sick. My answer to him was even Paul suffered and God said to him 2 Corinthians 12:9
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

After a week as I was waiting expectantly I observed the external piles that I had which has formed small lumps on the outside edge of the anus whereby my GP had adviced to book for operation urgently had vanished . The bleeding and pain was gone and I went to consult for confirmation and GP confirmed that the lumps were gone and he will postpone the operation. God answers prayer

My BP was not controllable, doctors kept on increasing medication.I was taking 5 different pills for high blood pressure only not speaking about other pills for other health issues, below is my reading which was not fine. Normal BP should be 120/80 you can see mine was way too high. The next thing I observed my BP was becoming normal and my pills began to be reduced from five now I am on 3 pills daily see readings below. God answers prayer

My Abnormal BP
My Normal BP

Now the big issue; Rheumatoid Arthritis, Presently I am not having any pain, still get swollen, can lift my hands, I can bend my knee and still praying for cartilage to grow back. Thinking that doctors cannot explain why am I walking, if its not Grace then I don’t know what it is. Let me share with you a story about my trip to Russia where I went with my Colleagues and got sick whilst in Russia and was taken to hospital . When we got to the hospital before I could see the doctor, blood tests and some X-rays were done. I went with the nurse who understood English to the consulting room and when we got in, the doctor and the nurse had a conversation which seemed like they were arguing at last they offered me a chair. I asked the nurse what might be the problem and she indicated that doctor had studied my blood and X-Ray results and was not expecting a walking patient. Then the doctor checked me and asked me which African Herb I was using to be still walking with level 4 Rheumatoid Arthritis. I said I walk by faith not by sight, there is no African Herb I am taking. They looked at me like I have gone banana’s and laughed. Current I can do things I was not able to do, I can bend my fingers, I walk without pain, I am seeing huge improvements and still expecting more everyday. I have learned to say I am not able to do this now but I know I am healed this too is going away. I know its hard but everyday I am expecting more until I am completely healed.God answers prayer

My pain has made me a better person and I understand when someone is in pain because I can relate. It has taught me not to be judgemental, or call people names. I pray that society can stop looking at sick people and thinking their sins are burning them, what sin did I do at thirteen years to suffer such pain. I am grateful for the life I have and I would not understand the mercy and favour to this level. Remember Pray asking, have faith or believe you got and answer, expect results. God wants you to be his Friend and Friends love each other, they talk to each other, laugh together, share secrets and special and painful moments John 15:13-15
