Psalms 83:1 O God, do not keep silence;do not hold your peace or be still, O God!
There are times in life when you feel like God has left you, you feel alone and abandoned. Although he said I will never leave you nor forsake you, you feel like you are in the dry season of your life sometimes he is silently watching the love of his life. In the last episode we spoke about a couple that did not have enough money to buy a television with arial and connection subscription so they decided to buy an arial. The husband agreed to buy the television arial just to make the wife happy. When they arrived home, the children were so happy and the mother asked them to ensure that they put the arial on the roof top point. The children did as requested but could not understand the logic.
The little smiling faces after completing installing the arial, they came and sat waiting for the television. In their little minds maybe a delivery man was still coming with the television, the father seeing their faces was embarrassed and explained the buying process. They couldn’t understand who buys an arial before the television but what could they say. The wife went to work as usual and people were talking about how strange her television arial was, and explained that they don’t understand how the wires were connected to the television. Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his own love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Sometimes we cannot understand our connection to God that whilst we were sinners, he sent Jesus Christ to die for us. God’s connection to us is too deep to understand, why he loved us so much that when we did not qualify to be saved but he still saved us and worked hard to connect us to him and today even if you feel like he is not there, we must just trust his promise.
When the wife came back from work, she was more furious with the husband, forgetting that it was her idea to put the arial on the top point of the roof. He asked the husband that they must buy a television since she cannot be a joke of the whole village. The husband tried explaining that they don’t have the money but his explanation fell into deaf ears. So they agreed that they will sell the cattle that was providing milk for the family in order to buy the television.
Philippians 4:11 Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. Paul teaches us to be content with whatsoever we have, because if we are not content we will end up losing everything we have trying to please everyone. If we live to please people, people will always find something wrong with our actions and they will never appreciate our efforts. So if we learn to be content with ourselves we will be strong in our journey and hold on to our faith knowing that God is connected to us more than we are connected to him. As people we tend tone more connected to things and forget that these things they parish, we should always be connected to our creator. This family will not find happiness until they find contentment that is found in Christ alone.
Lots of Love see you in the last episode of the arial and connection
